About the Founder

Meet Dr. Mac

My name is Dr. Natika M. McPherson, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS/LPCS/LCCS), educator, author, and community advocate with more than 25 years of experience serving youth and families.

As the Founder of Getting to Know Marriage, Inc. and creator of the It's Up To You Program, I am passionate about helping individuals and families build stronger relationships, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential. My professional experience includes behavioral health leadership, youth development, community-based programming, and serving as a Dean of Students and Culture within a large public school system.

I am also the author of three books focused on parenting, relationships, and personal growth. As a wife and mother of three sons, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my work and remain committed to strengthening families, supporting youth, and building healthier communities.
